At Seasons of Motherhood, we strive to empower mothers through every stage of their journey. We provide resources, support, and community for women navigating the beautiful yet challenging world of motherhood.
Hi, I'm Kate, the founder of Seasons of Motherhood LLC. As a certified birth doula and postpartum care specialist, I am passionate about supporting families through one of the most transformative and important experiences of their lives: childbirth. I am a certified professional in various aspects of prenatal and postnatal care. I hold certifications in Spinning Babies, Childbirth Education, Lactation, and am a DONA-certified Birth Doula. Additionally, I am CPR-trained, ensuring that I am equipped to provide comprehensive support to both mothers and babies.
My journey into the world of doula care began with a deep calling to serve expecting families and help them navigate the beautiful, and sometimes overwhelming, journey of birth. I believe every family deserves to feel empowered, informed, and supported during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
I am committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized care. Whether it's guiding you through the early stages of labor, offering emotional support during birth, or assisting with newborn care and breastfeeding in the postpartum period, I’m here to be your trusted ally. My approach is rooted in respect for your choices and preferences, honoring the uniqueness of your family and your birth vision.
With an understanding that every birth is different, I offer support tailored to your needs—whether you're planning a hospital birth, a home birth, or a birth center experience. My goal is to create a calm and reassuring presence, helping you feel safe, confident, and heard every step of the way.
Certifications and Training
I am a certified birth doula through DONA International and I continuously expand my knowledge through workshops, training, and working closely with local birth professionals. Focusing on helping new parents adjust to the challenges of bringing a newborn into their lives.
